Deliveries
Cope Jewellers only accept online orders and deliveries to shipping addresses within the United Kingdom.
We will arrange for your order to be delivered to the address to which the payment card is registered.If there is no one present to accept and sign for the delivery, please follow the instructions on the card left by the Royal Mail in order to organise re-delivery, or to collect from your local sorting office.
Free delivery on items over £250.00 via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery (this service delivers within 1 – 2 working days). Items up to £250.00 will be subject to a £10.00 delivery charge.
Please note: all items will require a signature at the point of delivery. If your order is returned to us because Royal Mail were unable to deliver it for any reason, you will be responsible for all return and re-delivery charges incurred. If an unauthorised person at your delivery address accepts and signs for your order, Cope Jewellers will not be responsible.
Cancellations
If you have made a mistake and wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone.You have within a 24 hour time period to report any cancellation requests. Any requests made after this 24 hour period may be rejected by Cope Jewellers.We reserve the right to cancel any order if:
a) the item is out of stock (regardless of what is stated on the Website at the time of purchase);
b) your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom;
c) the price of one or more ordered items was listed incorrectly due to a typographical error or incorrect pricing information.
In the event of an order cancellation, you will receive an email notification.Any amount deducted from your payment card will be refunded as soon as possible within 30 days of your order.
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy
Please note that these instructions pertain to website transactions only. Purchases made directly from one of our stores are subject to statutory consumer regulations.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase, please follow the following procedure to begin your return & exchange/refund process.
If you are returning a product due to a change of mind you are responsible to pay the shipping costs associated with returning the products.
All items must be returned in original, unworn condition, within fourteen days of receipt, for a full refund to the original payment method or exchange.
1. Notify us by email at sales@copejewellers.co.uk within 14 working days from the date your order was received.
2. Items must be returned using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service or by a reputable courier within 7 working days of the invoice date to: G + F Cope & Co. (Retail) LtdElite Corner41 – 43 Parliament StreetNottinghamNG1 2BT
Please retain proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for any parcel lost in transit.
3. All products must be returned with the original receipt, in a new and unused state, and in perfect condition (without scratch or damage), with all original shipping, paperwork (including proof of purchase), product packaging, protective materials and tags in place.Returns of watches will not be accepted if the product shows any signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way (including bracelet adjustment), or if the nominated refund period has passed.
Any attempt to change a watch strap or bracelet could result in unintentional damage to the watch case that would make it ineligible for return.Returns must be initiated within the nominated refund period and shipped promptly thereafter.
4. The customer is responsible for delivery costs incurred when returning an unwanted order.
Please note: we are not liable for any goods returned to us unless they are returned via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, or by a reputable courier.If the product you are returning is incorrect, defective, or has been damaged in transit, we will offer you a replacement where possible, or a refund in full including return postage costs, providing there is no evidence of the items having been damaged after delivery.This will be sent to you at no charge within fourteen business days from the date the faulty Product is returned.
Special policy rules regarding pre-owned & vintage items
Due to the nature of pre-owned goods, we understand that the item you have received may have already had some wear and tear prior to it being in your care.
When returning pre-owned goods, the item must be returned in the exact condition it was in prior to its delivery to you. We keep extensive notes and photographs of all our pre-owned items; any damages incurred after it has left our premises (and not documented by us) will be entirely within your jurisdiction and may be grounds for a refund refusal by Cope Jewellers.
Orders & Payments
By placing an order you will have offered to purchase an item(s) from us. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email of acknowledgement detailing your order.
This is not a confirmation or acceptance of your order by Cope Jewellers, simply a notification that we have received your request. At this point we will be under no obligation to supply the product(s) ordered.
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. Once we have accepted your order, we shall charge your account for payment of the goods ordered (which includes VAT and postage where applicable).
Please retain your ‘Confirmation of Order’ email until the return window has closed.All prices for products and services are quoted on the website in Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.
Pre-Owned items include a lower level of VAT in accordance with the VAT Margin Scheme. A product’s correct price will always be stated and confirmed as part of our sales procedure when you pay for your item.VAT is included in all advertised prices on our website.
Payment can be made securely online by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit and AMEX. All debit/credit cardholders will be subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If authorisation of your payment card is refused by the issuer, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of your order.
All payments via our website are processed by Shopify's internal processing service. Cope Jewellers is not liable for the functionality and availability of their service.In exceptional circumstances, if we are unable to fulfil an order we have accepted you will be notified by email and your payment card re-credited with the original amount.
All purchases can be exchanged or refunded if returned in the condition they were bought, within 14 days. In accordance with our Returns Policy.
